Fun With Forces and Motion

During our Forces and Motion Science Unit, our students were able to participate in various activities in which they were actively involved. They practiced different ways to move (such as running, skipping, hopping, and crab-walking) in the gym to see which ways were faster and which were slower. They were also able to play tug-of-war to show the force of something pulling on something else. At the end of the unit, we had our special science day in which students were able to put all the things they learned about forces and motion into practice by experimenting with real-world examples. Our science day was a success and the students had a lot of fun! Thanks to all of our volunteers who came in to help make this afternoon so successful!
