Me on a Map!

To finish up our "Me on a Map" Social Studies Unit, students created their own maps of the classroom to find a special treasure somewhere in the classroom. Students then were able to make their own treasure maps! They also had the opportunity to look at maps of West Allis to find different places in our community. All of these activities gave students the opportunity to practice reading maps, which the students loved!
